Galactic Fashion is a monthly podcast dedicated to Star Wars and geek fashion, hosted by Johnamarie Macias and Teresa Delgado and part of the Jedi News Network.
In episode 28, the two ladies talk about the Force Friday products released by Her Universe, Bioworld, ThinkGeek, and Loungefly. They also bring you the latest updates from Po-Zu, UtinniBikini, and Elhoffer Design as well as discuss the new collections from Jamberry and Cargo Cosmetics. For this month's episode, Johnamarie and Teresa had planned to interview Mari R. Cole (@TweetedFromMars, @sentfrommars), but since she recently went into labor, we send her warm and thoughtful wishes. Instead of an interview, Teresa and Johnamarie bring back "Rate the Look," where they grade six character outfits from Disney's Descendants 2.
Bonus: Make sure to stay until the very end for some hilarious bloopers. Lastly, make sure to visit Galactic Fashion at @galacticfashionpod on Instagram to find a gallery of photos pertaining to the brands and releases mentioned in this episode.
In a Force Friday II related show the Star Wars Collectors Cast brings you news from events around the world. From Los Angeles, show host James Burns joins forces with Sarah and Richard from Skywalking through Neverland as they journey to a local Toys ‘R’ Us, and then to Downtown Disney to meet up with Tricia Barr (FanGIRL Blog/Fangirls Going Rogue) and BJ Priester (FanGIRL Blog/Hyperspace Theories) at The World of Disney Store.
Meanwhile earlier the same day in London, Mark Newbold & Matt Booker attend several events in London at Disney Store, John Lewis and Po-Zu. Mark joins James to break down the day, and to talk about the latest Episode IX news (recorded before JJ Abrams was confirmed as writer/director for Episode IX).
As if all that wasn’t enough, James catches up with Krystal Persaud from litteBits - Product Lead on the Droid Inventor Kit; Wow! Stuff co-founder Dr Graeme Taylor & creative director Dr Jim Wyatt to talk about their awesome new Holopane products; and finally, to Steve Sansweet from Rancho Obi-Wan.
